This show is chock full of creepy and weird people. Fairly good storyline development, but the side stories are starting to detract from the main plot. Getting towards the end of the season and I'm still not sure what the point of all this is supposed to be.

A miniseries that started out strong, then lost its way.

This show started out with a decent plot, but everything was too obvious. Then it started just getting silly. It should've been only seven episodes and it would've ended a lot stronger. The acting was just OK, and the originality of most of it was lackluster. It seems that a lot of Netflix shows now like to constantly put scenes and flashbacks out of order. It's starting to get old when it's poorly done, like this miniseries.
SPOILER BELOW:
Anyone with half a brain who's seen any CSI show knows that DNA testing will confirm if someone related to your bloodline (parent, child) has 1/2 of your same DNA. This show dragged this on for several episodes, which was entirely unnecessary. And then in the final minutes, the lead detective simply says "I know it's you" without even bothering to mention the DNA evidence for those who are unaware.
