Glad to see it back

We love the cast and enjoyed it for four years so happy that it is back hoping it goes for many more. Love that you include all the generations in the show. Well written , acted and love the location, just beautiful to look at the landscape. Thanks for bringing it back.

Show ran its course (well before the final season)
Pegasus-1019 October 2020
Mostly enjoyable to watch the various characters age and mature (mostly), but some of them grew tiresome long before their story arc ended. The last episodes were a poor finale, with the laborious stories about Harrison and Ted and the women Ted met in Hong Kong being gratuitous and taking away from time that could have been spent on characters who we went along the ride with for years and whose story-lines were rushed and unsatisfactory. Too much John (and Judith!) as well; and another season of watching Celia devolve into a harpy would have been too painful. Rest in Peace.

The scene in the church explains who Celia is
fh_323 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The world is on fire all around her and she is worried about upgrading her already modern kitchen. She becomes more and more unlikable. Celia can't admit she is wrong or made a mistake with the kitchen contractor. The writers continue to break her down and make her an awful character. She is a stubborn, bitter snob who needs to boss Alan around and the writers have created a weak old fool who lets her.

Finally its over .....

I am a completist so had to finish what I started and only wish someone had said NO DONT DO IT!! You really cant like any of the characters only the artists portraying them.

What a mess of a family ... every single one of them. In the first 2 seasons you are hoping that the remainder will be a bit more normal but so much other crap is thrown in which makes it utter nonsense.

I got into this due to Derek Jacobi and Nicola Walker but did come to respect some of the others actors but had to really dislike the people they were playing. Egads .. what sh&t. I know I am repeating myself so I can get the required number of characters in review. Done .... and finished.
