Please note: I do not know anyone involved in this film. I just saw this on youtube in a 4-part series. This is undoubtedly one of the best Christian movies ever. I know the language is harsh, and the situations very graphic and adult, but you know what? Jesus didn't come for the well, he came for the sick. These characters are REAL. The acting is excellent (except for the meth dude- a bit stiff). The message is very well done, multi-layered. The ending made my insides twist. And use of minimal sound effects was quite professional I thought. Good camera work. Nothing fancy, just a simple story about an atheist who wins the lottery in exchange for selling his soul. Even if some of the premise seems outlandish, it's a gripping human interest drama. More Christian film makers should concentrate on the plight of the individual as this film did instead of arrogantly proclaiming who is saved and who is not. Perhaps I'm going on a bit too much, but I'm really pleased when I see a good message movie done in good taste with good film sense. I'll give it a 10 because I'm feeling generous, but in a more critical mood I'd still give it a 9.
