The Ending!

The whole episode went absolutely fantastic apart from the end, why would you kill diyoza like that?! I mean I was frustrated at that fact

Plot's moving forward but .........

Warning: Spoilers
Echo's character is a mess this season. She used Bellamy's name to do unspeakable things. She was going to kill everyone because of Bellamy? That's just too much, even for revenge. And Hope practically killed her own mother, she's as bad as Echo. I gotta agreed with Anders when he said they're primal beast in thrall to their feelings only. Sheidheda has the grounders army now, I'm eager to see what's he going to do next and will he be part of the "last war" or not.

I really hope this is a comment on modern politics
Rob-O-Cop13 August 2020
Cos if it's not then it's just a silly plot. I'm finding it hard to digest the constant barrage of slayings by our heroes. It's non stop and the easy answer to every single situation, and a little bit boring, with only a few episodes to go. Maybe that's the moral of this story. The 'good guys' never learn, never find a better way. That's a good metaphor for modern day USA, in which case this is fantastic script writing, but if it's not that then.....

7B has done a complete 180

Warning: Spoilers
It's about damn time! This is the first episode in Season 7 where it feels like the plot is ACTUALLY moving forward & wow, what a rollercoaster of an episode it was! Sheidheda & Indra's fight scene gave me massive old school S3 vibes, along with Madi swooping in to save Indra. Murphy's 7 season character development was on full display as well with him doing everything it takes to save the people of Sanctum, instead of only worrying about himself & Emori. The writers also FINALLY gave Jordan something to do & it looks like he's going to take a page out of his dad Monty's book & save his friends by figuring out what the anomaly coding actually means.

As for the stuff I didn't like this episode.. Echo's little "vengeance mission" was downright stupid, along with how they filmed that final scene. Echo basically telling Octavia & Clarke that she knows Bellamy better than both of them & knows what he would've wanted/done was STUPID, who the hell actually wrote that dialogue!? Also, the whole object/droplet falling in slow motion & catching it just in time thing just didn't work for me. But that being said, seeing the full effects of the bio weapon on Diyoza/Anders was epic & looked really good. Unfortunately, I didn't really feel anything with Diyoza's death despite me loving her character, which I think is due to how poorly the writing has been in S7 up until this point. I didn't really feel anything with Clarke & Octavia's hug mourning Bellamy, even though I know if that same scene happened back in S6 or before I would've been clamoring over it. It just sucks that I feel like I have lost that attachment I had to all of my favorite characters with how this season has gone so far. Well, maybe not all of them, as the 7x11 promo made me uncontrollably scream in excitement for the return of Bellamy Blake! He's FINALLY back next week & the episode is gonna be all about his journey on Etherea!! So damn excited for our leading man to be back on the show, it just sucks we only have 6 more episodes to go until it's all over..

Perfect episode. Every second was perfect. Sanctum storyline finally has me hooked. Diyoza's death has me destroyed for years. Haven't sobbed like this in years. But it's ok. I will be fine.

What's up with all the slomo's?
kaspercmhermans16 August 2020
Suddenly there were dramatic slomo's everywhere in the last 15 minutes. What was that all about. Also the fight scene between Indra and Sheiheda was filmed like the cameraman was drunk. Apart from that a good episode, although the dialogue in the last scene could have been better.

Best show ever.

Warning: Spoilers
How is it possible that after each season they can make the next one even better? And same goes for episodes. I gave some of the episodes 10/10, so i'm guessing this one should get 20/10. Even though they killed my favourite character(diyoza) but wow What a show.

Warning: Spoilers
When Madi came out of nowhere to kill sheiheda I was like MADI QUEEN RIGHT THERE JUST LIKE MOMMY LEXA YES! Cuz for a moment I actually taught it was Lexa and almost got myself a heart arrest. Also the acting from Adina Porter was on fire. It's one of the best episodes of the season.

Terrible episode
dannyhiemstra9 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So many things irritated the heck out of me in this episode.

The fighting scene was filmed nicely but it was so off the whole series because the fighting scenes never been like this. If sheidheda was so terrible they could of have ended him with a gunshot.

Grounders don't look like wild people that grew up in the wild anymore and are really missing the roughness.

Acting was very average again except maybe some new stars like Hope.

The serie should really have stopped after the end of earth. This season has a couple of very good episodes but so many are terrible.

This season was extremely traumatizing
Neptune16518 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I still hate this season with a passion. They killed Diyoza in such a bad way. Unless there's a way to reverse the Chrystal process via Jordan's discovery of the test instead of the war. But most likely yes Diyoza is dead since it happened on screen. I am honestly so sad to see Diyoza gone. She come a long way from the domestic terrorist she was known as. She just saved all of those people with a little sacrifice. I absolutely despised Diyoza when they introduced her in season 5 this is one of a few shows that could successfully turn a villain into a main character that you care about!! The Diyoza/Octavia side story as soon as it started when they were exploring sanctum together was interesting and it just kept ramping up incredibly. Diyoza arc has been absolutely incredible and has come such a long way. It's crazy that she used to be a terrorist and now she's stopping the genocide of people.

Offers a little story development, could be better.
ououzaza7 August 2020
The main problem here is that story develops just a little bit than the last episode. The main event is just a short-term story goal that feels unnessessary and unrevelant. But although despite everything that I just said, the episode is just great. Good acting and an intense screenplay.

What the heck happened?
mauricepuhlmann8 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Didn't understood a thing about what happened in this episode x) They should haves stopped after they left earth. Would have been perfect.

But they are greedy. You can even see it in the actors performance... They are like: "when are you going to let me go?"

Awful.
