Like the show as a whole. Humor is dry & subtle and you have to pay attention. Always a mistake attempting to recreate past successes and expecting a 'Michael' in a space suit would never work. One character is very annoying: 'F. Tony Scarapiducci' should be sent to rescue the Chimpernaut and condemned to a Mongolian Gulag.

An episode with heart

Could you live in a restrictive environment with limited dining options? General Naird thinks his previous military experience has prepared him for such an experiment and volunteers. But, just like on earth, living with others has unexpected challenges. He also learns, others are helpful as he comes to terms with undealt with feelings.
The characters are developing and we're starting to get to know them. Even with all their quirks, we find them endearing -except the F. Tony Scarapiducci character - he needs to go. He is a reincarnation of Ben Schwartz's character from Parks and Rec. There was nothing endearing about him then or now. He's just annoying.
I loved how Brad finally gets to do something.
Going places...

I have watched 4 episodes so fa, and I feel that the show is beginning to improve. The pilot is always going to be exposition-driven, so it can't be used as the basis for a decision to watch/not-watch.
The second, chimp-based episode was really inferior, and I was prepared to give up at that point. However, today I needed something to watch while huffing and puffing on my exercise machine, and I thought this would be sufficiently mindless.
I was pleasantly surprised. I like the character arcs, and appreciated the wry humour (episode 3: "oops!"). These two were definitely a step up.
Since I haven't seen two minutes of "The Office", I don't have any expectations about Carrell or the humour in this show. I think it should be seen for what it is, a gentle satire with interesting characters rather than a laugh-out-loud comedy.

No need for the scary part

I love this show is one of my favorites, I watch it to relax an laugh and distract my mind but that scene of the scary prank with the scream doesn't belong in my opinion ... I don't like to be scared. What's the point to see a comedy and family tv show if it will scare me. Maybe I'm trying to think in different things, distract myself, so that scary part is unnecessary. I love the hole other episodes.
