The second half of season 3, is far better than the first. After Bree leaving for her « honeymoon ». I love all the storylines, even those I hated at first. Lynette's fling with the new cook, gave Felicity Huffman great material to work with. And her acting justified all those Emmy nominations there. And also gave her character her revenge, for all of early episodes suffering, caused by Tom's affair. Mike and Susan finally make sense again, and their reunion was worth the wait. And both Gabby and Carlos, rushing into disastrous new relationships, made these last episodes of season 3, even more addicting. Even though I am disgusted by Bree's neurotic way of trying to save face all the time. Getting Married Today, was a grand Desperate Housewives episode. Where we got two weddings, for two very different reasons. Lynette's deadbeat mother, using her daughter's cancer, to force her love on her. A glimpse at Kayla's manipulative strikes. A reunion and a suicide... It's everything that made Desperate Housewives one of the best guilty pleasures on TV. And most watched ABC series back then. And that last shot of Eddie's body dangling from the beam, was more than enough to get us back next season...
