A good end to the series.
Sleepin_Dragon2 July 2023
Marion has finally pushed Geoffrey's buttons and he's decided to walk out, one affair too many, and a concern over the whereabouts of the waxed lemons when Geoffrey announces that he wants to leave are enough to send him to Bay View.

Series two has been so consistent, it ends on a high, this is a very amusing episode, with some great one liners and a good scenario.

Marion and Geoffrey have been very funny, an integral part of the show, but more often than not, they're the bit part players, here, Geoffrey is essentially the leading character.

Andrew Tourell is very good in the part, we learn a lot about Geoffrey, and perhaps why he is the way he is.

Favourite scene had to be seeing Tim and Diana tormented by Geoffrey's constant prattling on, the look on their faces is a joy.

8/10.

Not a lot of people know that

Warning: Spoilers
Throughout all of the preceding episodes of Waiting For God we have merely, glimpsed the dynamics of the extended Ballard clan.

Hitherto we have only really seen the family, through the dad Tom's perspective.

His son Geoffrey and daughter in law Marion, have only been seen in a type of reflection.

Here for the first time Tom Ballard's son Geoffrey really takes centre stage, and we become more familiar with his own particular propensity.

It all commences with yet another barny between Geoffrey and Marion, which by now are so frequent that the exact cause is fairly irrelevant.

In the midst of it Geoffrey makes an announcement, not one in and of itself to occasion any surprise certainly not to Marion.

As he had undoubtedly expressed the identical sentement, on innumerable previous occasions.

But what if any could be the possible consequences, to make this occasion any different than its predecessors?

In Bayview Tom and Diana had grown to view son Geoffrey and wife Marion, with absolute disdain.

But luckily for them hitherto neither had the misfortune, to suffer having their presence permanently inflicted on them.

But now all this was to change how on earth would their demeanour be altered if, Tom's son Geoffrey were to descend on them at Bayview?

Geoffrey has finally had enough and has left Marion?!
planktonrules3 December 2023
When the episode begins, Geoffrey has finally had enough of his awful wife and has left Marion. I guess her various addictions and infidelities FINALLY registered with Geoffrey...and he reacts. But his plan is really not very well thought out, as he soon arrives at Bayview and insists on moving in with Tom! Soon, Geoffrey's so boring and awful that even Diana admits that she wishes she'd go back to Marion...even though she can't stand the woman!

This is one of the better episodes. First, it's nice to see Geoffrey FINALLY admit that his wife is an awful person. Second, it's very funny and made me smile...even more than usual!
