One of the strongest episodes this season. Zidan and Jubal both torn between their jobs and their friends. Good writing and very good drama. Deals with issue of addiction without beating viewers over the head.

I really like this show, the actors, the stories, and the personal stories. But I hate the lack of lighting; it literally hurts my eyes. WHY????

"Conflict of Interest"

After largely taking a back seat to the 'FBI: Most Wanted' backdoor pilot last episode, the original FBI cast is back with a bang in "Conflict of Interest" that involves the investigation of a diplomat (and his driver) who are killed after a function, with ties to drug trafficking.

What sets this episode apart from the others is that both Jubal (who gets to do some more fieldwork in this episode) and OA have personal ties to the case. Strong acting from Jeremy Sisto and Zeeko Zaki: their characters are tested by the circumstances of the case. You got the feeling that both men were struggling with the line between their oath as agents of the FBI and their personal connection. A well-scripted episode, tense right to the end. And sad.
