First of all, there is absolutely no reason that cop should get off. He was bigoted and dangerous, as was proven. The overweight woman should have won. Alan's closing was too stupid for words. Of course, she got incredibly greedy and could have come away with a bunch of money. And Clarence is again so beyond belief that I cringe every time he shows up. And Jerry is even worse as his new girlfriend decides to date clock radio. What an awful episode.

Too ridiculous even for a comedy

I know that this show is a comedy and you are supposed to suspend all disbelief while watching but this episode was too stupid and ridiculous even for a comedy.
A woman kills a guy who killed her son and claims "she killed him in revenge" and she is found "not guilty" because Alan Shore convinces the jury that it's ok to kill someone for revenge even though he's personally against death penalty.
We get it, Alan Shore NEVER ever loses a case because god forbid the entire universe would cease to exist if Alan Shore ever lost a case but this one was utterly ridiculous, stupid and insult to intelligence of viewers.
