A surprise choice.

The Mortons, a couple Susan and Ben met on holiday ask them to lunch, their motive, to ask for something special from Ben.

It's a fine start to the series, not only do we get to see and learn more about Kenzo's dad, but we get Ben at his very best, insanely smug, and happy to run everyone's noses in it, fortunately it's Susan that has the last laugh. It's a very funny episode.

The factory may be closed, but the equipment is still working, absolutely brilliant line. 8/10.

A strong S7 opener

The 7th series of 'My Family' begins with this stellar episode, penned by Tom Anderson.

Ben is asked to be sperm donor and it brings out the worse in him, but it does bring out a very funny performance from Robert Lindsay.

The joy sometimes of 'My Family' is seeing him and Zoe Wannamaker interacting, and this episode offers lots of opportunities for that.

We also get a fun subplot involving Janey, and a not such a fun one involving Abi and Roger, who at this stage were still heavily involved.

A good start to S7 overall.
