Inept parody

One of Adam & Eve's worst directors, Daniel Dakota, shows his face in a supporting role in this lousy rip-off inspired by the Tarantino hit. DD also dominates the blooper reel, unable to remember even the simplest dialog in a script he wrote himself.

Beyond casting himself, he does a poor job choosing the rest of the players, with contract star Ava Rose a blank in the Uma Thurman role, and Evan Stone and John E. Depth miserable as the cross-talking team of Travolta and Jackson. Some scenes are copied from the original, notably the Uma overdosing vignette, in this case having Ava o.d. on an aphrodisiac, but Dakota doesn't bother to fashion much of a story to maintain one's interest beyond the XXX footage.

Nominally, it's a case of characters opposing gangster boss Mr. Marcus, notably blonde Sophia Lynn as an agressive femme fatale. Since this should by all rights be Ava's movie, her fading away into the woodwork is a colossal blunder. Fortunately for both the label and its fans Dakota's stay at Adam & Eve only lasted a couple of years before his ticket to Palookaville was duly punched.
