It's the final straw for Ada, who's tired is being taken granted by Alf. Since Jeff has returned, Alf has been getting away with blue murder, not lifting a finger to help, and going to the pub frequently, Ada puts her foot down.
I rather enjoyed this one, it definitely has a couple of laughs, and I am liking that it somehow feels a little more linked up to the earlier years, Jeff's presence is definitely helping.
I like that we got to see the famous Battleaxe side of Peggy Mount in this one, it's been lacking of late, and I enjoyed seeing her ranting on in the pub.
So interesting to see the pub culture of the time, all men in flat caps.
What has happend to Hetty's husband? Where's he vanished to?
I've just spotted that Lofty is David Jackson, it's that voice, fans of Blake's Seven would know him as Gan, he's tall here, and quite slim.
A decent episode.
6/10.
