Love thy neighbour.

Ada insults her close friend and neighbour Hettie, joking about her constantly borrowing tea, Hettie retaliates, and the situation soon gets out of hand, with communications breaking down.

I think this has been one of my favourite episodes so far, I thought this was really very funny, there's nothing like a good bit of argy bargy among friends to cause a bit of entertainment. It was great to see Hettie plating a greater part.

It wasn't just the falling out of Ada and Hettie, it was the way the whole family fell out, even Myrtle had a pop at Eddie.

Favourite scene had to be the fallout after the radio effort, with Hettie calling Ada an old Bag from above the fence. The big fallout among the guys was also very amusing.

It goes to prove just how easy friends and families can fall out, all it takes is for one wrong word, or something taken out of context, all manner of things can happen.

8/10.

Operation Neighbour

Ada and Hetty go for from professing their friendship to all out war as they hurl insults at each other.

Ada calls out Hetty for always borrowing things. Hetty tells Ada that she is domineering.

Now it is left to Alf to reconcile both families. One plan is to create an interference on the radio where Ada makes a request on the radio to play a song for Hetty. Only dim witted Eddie plays the wrong choice of song. It inflames tensions even more.

Later Alf sends flowers to his neighbour with a message. Once again Eddie gets it wrong. He puts Alf's name on them. A furious Sam Prout calls round.

There is some inventiveness such as creating a fake wireless station. The Larkins are clever enough for that but then let son Eddie to mess it all up!
