The couple – who celebrated their third anniversary last month – are said to have agreed the time is right to add to their family and give three-year-old daughter Suri a sibling. A friend of the couple told America’s Ok! magazine: “She no longer feels like she’s just Mrs. Cruise. She’s her own person again. She and Tom have their disagreements, but deep down they love each other very much. That’s what is important.”
Tom, 47, and 30-year-old Katie – who met in April 2005 – have been contemplating having another baby for some time. It had been reported Katie – who recently finished shooting ‘The Extra Man Mary’ and ‘Don't Be Afraid of the Dark’ - wanted to star in another box office hit before she expanded her family. A source said: "Katie had to put movies on hold after Suri.” Katie's last film 'Mad Money' failed to impress at »

The ‘Mad Money’ actress insists the footwear she bought for Suri – her child with husband Tom Cruise – are actually supporting her feet and she is happy to let her child mimic her fashion choices. She said: “She, like every little girl, she loves my high heels. “They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them.” Tom has previously spoken out about Suri’s choice of footwear, insisting she is very “strong willed” about her appearance. He said: “The other day, Kate showed her some gold-coloured sneakers thinking she might like to wear them, and she looked at them and said, 'Oh mommy, these are lovely, but they're boy shoes.' "She's sweet, but she's very strong-willed - just like her mother." It was recently claimed Katie spends over $25,000 a month on Suri’s wardrobe as she is determined to have the “best »

For the past couple of days the internet has been abuzz about the possibility of Katie Holmes joining Mission: Impossible IV. The website Monsters and Critics is citing a “source” that claims to have any and all information regarding Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Mission: Impossible IV villains. Although, I have a feeling that like Transformers, there’s more to meet the eye, so let’s take a look and see if we can’t debunk some of these rumors.
The site states that our favorite height-challenged thespian is “desperate to work with his wife” and since Cruise could (almost literally) pick any film and role for his wife to be a part of, his extensive film knowledge leads him to believe that “an evil part for her in the fourth film would be perfect.”
Says the source:
“Tom is very excited about taking Mission: Impossible in a new direction »

Not too long ago, Katie Holmes was the one getting ousted. After romancing Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins, she was set aside so Maggie Gyllenhaal could whip up a much more spot-on Rachel Dawes. Now it's her time to take over a role. It might not be part of a well-established franchise, but Variety reports that Holmes will be replacing Liv Tyler in the romantic comedy The Romantics.
As I wrote when Tyler signed on for the project, this film sees Galt Niederhoffer adapting and directing from her own novel, which focuses on a group of college friends who reunite after 6 years for a wedding. The event brings up a rivalry between the groom, the bride, and her maid of honor. Anna Paquin is playing the bride, Josh Duhamel is the groom, and Holmes is stepping in as maid of honor. (Other cast include Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody, »

Katie Holmes wants to play a vampire in her next movie. The "Mad Money" actress loves watching horror films and would enjoy portraying an undead blood-sucker as long as the storyline is realistic.
Talking about her favorite type of movie, Katie said: "It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies - they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I'm not interested."
Although Katie's passion is acting, she will never put her career before her loved ones.
The 30-year-old star - who has three-year-old daughter, Suri, with her husband Tom Cruise - insists her family is the most important thing in her life.

Bruce Feirstein charts the 100 people, companies, institutions, and vices most responsible for the economic mess. Tune into Vf.com for five new financial villains every day.31. Jim Cramer. Because his viewers’ 401(k) accounts weren’t in on the joke. Every night, in the signature “Lightning Round” of his CNBC financial-advice show, Mad Money, Jim Cramer would greet callers with a hyperkinetic “Boo-yah,” then reel off an astounding blizzard of instant stock recommendations, punctuated by cartoonish sound effects. (Roaring bulls! Snarling bears!) When Cramer went on the Daily Show to defend these antics, he claimed he needed to be “entertaining.” He also tried to defend himself against Jon Stewart’s larger charge that he was being irresponsible because the whole market was rigged against the small investor. Stewart demolished this with a clip from a 2006 interview in which Cramer explained how hedge funds gamed the market. On the Daily Show, Cramer fell silent, »

Oliver Stone has confirmed Josh Brolin and Charlie Sheen for Money Never Sleeps, the upcoming sequel to 1987’s Wall Street.
In July, Brolin was in talks to reteam with Stone after working with him on the director’s last movie, W. Now he’s been confirmed as the villain of the movie, an evil hedge fund manager whose shady stock practices bring the economy to the brink of disaster. The role was originally held by Javier Bardem.
Stone also told the New York Times Charlie Sheen will have a cameo in the film as his original character, Bud Fox. Hyperactive “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer from CNBC will make a short appearance too.
Shia Labeouf plays the new fresh-faced trader in the sequel alongside Michael Douglas as a reformed Gordon Gekko. Susan Sarandon and Frank Langella round out the rest of the A-list cast.

Variety reports that the Circle of Confusion company is gearing up to shoot Gatekeeper, a new zombie feature, in September. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Isaac Meisenheimer, who’s done 2nd unit/assistant work on Until Death, Mad Money and the Day Of The Dead remake.
Matthew O’Leary (pictured, from Frailty and soon to be seen in Sorority Row), Lea Thompson, Judge Reinhold, Fango fave Ron Perlman and Jana Kramer from Prom Night and Laid To Rest will star in the film, in which a simple mistake leads to an undead outbreak in a small town where three friends have to save the day. “We intend to make a film in the vein of Shaun Of The Dead for American audiences,” says executive producer Stephen Emery. »

It’s kinda like how The Flinstones was really The Honeymooners, except as a prehistoric cartoon. The Ice Age movies are sitcoms, except instead of a homely doofus as the goofy guy married to the impossibly attractive, impossibly forgiving, and yet still endlessly nagging wife, it’s a couple of mammoths with a bachelor sabertooth tiger and a dimbulb ground sloth as the wacky neighbors. This is how far cartoons have descended in the last decade and a half: The Lion King was Shakespearean. Ice Age is Everybody Loves Raymondean. This time out, Ray Ramano’s (Eulogy, Welcome to Mooseport) Manny the Mammoth is about to be a dad, and you don’t even need to see the movie to know that he’s going to overreact in the most -- pardon the pun -- cartoonish way to having a baby, which is just about the most perfectly normal thing two higher mammals can do. »

It's a race against time, one man against the system: Danish director Ole Bornedal has signed on to direct an adaptation of Dean Koontz' book The Husband, a race-against-time thriller. The novel sees an ordinary guy, a landscape gardener, receive a call from someone who says he has kidnapped our hero's wife and wants $2 million to give her back. When our gardener complains, not unreasonably, that he's a frickin' gardener and doesn't have that kind of money*, the kidnapper simply replies that, "You'll find a way". Ooooh, high concept.Bornedal's also set to rewrite the script, last drafted by Fracture and Mad Money's Glenn Gers, so expect to see this sometime next year. Ish. Meanwhile, two of Bornedal's Danish films - The Substitute and Just Another Love Story - have been picked up to be remade by Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures.*Maybe they confused him with a plumber? »
