Shoreline Entertainment has been appointed sales agent of the W2 Entertainment library of more than 60 features and is in talks with buyers here.
The W2 Entertainment titles were produced between 2004-2011 and include The Good Shepherd, Winged Creatures (pictured) and Dead Mary. The library raises Shoreline’s catalogue to more than 300 features.
“W2 Entertainment has built a strong collection of films at an opportune time as distributors are seeking to acquire quality titles in volume,” said Shoreline founder and CEO Morris Ruskin.
“Many of us at Shoreline have had the pleasure of knowing Warren Nimchuk and Warren Fergus for a number of years and we are also exploring opportunities for them to finance our upcoming productions, as well as for us to handle sales on future selections of their content.”

Just when I began losing my recently acquired Canadian accent from watching every single episode of "Trailer Park Boys" (and both movies), FEARnet has gone and brought more madness for us to enjoy from up North!
Canadian horror/comedy "Todd & The Book of Pure Evil" is a cult hit in its homeland, and it is coming to America by way of FEARnet this August. The series is about a mystical book that grants teenagers' deepest, darkest desires but demands payback at a horrible price.
"Todd & The Book of Pure Evil" stars Alex House (Dark Oracle), Maggie Castle (Dead Mary), Melanie Leishman (Never Cry Werewolf), and Jason Mewes (Clerks). It is based on a short film from 2003 by Craig David Wallace and Max Reid.
Season Two of the cult series is in production in Manitoba, Canada, but you can catch up on the series when FEARnet HD begins airing Season One on August 2nd.

Fango got a couple of comments from director Oley Sassone and writer Jennifer Buttell-Kersey, the duo behind the upcoming paranormal chiller Dead Whisper. We also got ahold of two shots (seen below) from the short film Welcome Home, on which the feature is based.
Scheduled to begin filming in January in New Orleans, Dead Whisper is about a woman plagued by ghostly voices and bad dreams who winds up in a psychiatric hospital. Her nightmares only get worse, and she and her psychiatrist attempt to track their source to an abandoned house, where a frightening secret is revealed, leading to “a shocking twist that audiences will not see coming!” Buttell-Kersey tells us.
“Horror/fantasy films are always fun to make, adds Sassone, whose credits include Relentless IV, the Roger Corman-produced Fantastic Four and episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess. “The world you create is totally your own. The script...
