The worst SHADOWS episode yet. A ridiculous non-story about a geeky kid obsessed with an old legend who goes to a school disco and finds the past coming back to haunt the present. Stilted acting throughout and a couple of 40 year old actors playing kids in a very unconvincing way. The disco scene with the ray guns is cringeworthy.

Nice concept but not gripping

I found myself surprised not to have enjoyed this episode as much as I had hoped for. The concept of a put-upon boy interested in Arthurian legend who is surrounded by seemingly people who want to make his life difficult would appear to be a good premise. Unfortunately the actual telling of the story and the flat anti-climatic conclusion all left me unmoved. Elements which I enjoyed are limited to the key protagonists struggle and his other youthful co-stars. None of the adult cast seems as inspiring.
