I was really struck when I viewed this one.
Feels like it all fits. The imagery, the sounds, the special effects & the editing.
Quite a feat for a production that, as I gather (according to the 'box office/business' on the site), came to be for less than $4,000 (!!). Especially, I liked the editing, which plays around with space and time. I think that on this film, the modern approach of non-linear editing is most fitting, and demonstrates brilliantly what probably goes on in this character's mind, time and time again.
I love the visual textures in the film & to put it simply, it's just beautifully shot. I was amazed by the special effects which are meticulously & masterfully realized. And I got to mention the beautifully shifting & emotionally moving musical soundtrack as well...
All of these elements are gracefully & masterfully orchestrated by the obviously talented director Gal Ziv.
So, to some it up, I think this is an formidable & exemplary piece, a joy to watch, and I hope to see more material of this caliber from this talented "Spielbergian" young director.
