Bye-bye Bingo
JordanThomasHall30 July 2019
Hillary is caring for Bingo the Chimp, raving with a high fever of 172. Lou understands "monkey talk" and relays that Bingo says he doesn't want to live anymore, but wants to be with his father in the Belgian Congo. Bud, Lou, Hillary, Mike the Cop, Mr. Fields, and Mr. Bacciagalupe all travel from New York to the jungles of Africa to find Bingo's father. While wondering alone, Lou stumbles upon a large gorilla and runs away. It follows Lou to camp, sending him into hysterics. Bud doesn't believe Lou saw anything and tells him the whole camp thinks he's a coward. Bud dons a gorilla suit to set Lou up as a hero by forcing him into a cage. Lou agrees to the scheme. However, unknown to Lou, the real gorilla shows up and causes Bud to faint. He comically asserts himself against the real thing.

Season One ends with an episode written to alleviate behind the scenes tension. Bingo was "fired" from the show after biting Lou. Lou was reportedly leery of Bingo and the two never got along. The episode's setting is reminiscent of the Abbott and Costello film "Africa Screams".
