Just after fashion club president Sandi decrees that the maximum weight for new club members it to be lowered she falls and breaks her leg. While her leg is in a cast she puts on weight and decides that she can no longer stay in the club and passes the presidency on to Quinn. Quinn politely tells her she couldn't possibly replace her and Sandi takes that to mean she is showing solidarity by leaving as well! With only two members of the club left Daria and Jane have a bet as to whether the club can survive... each doing what they can to win the bet.
This was an enjoyable episode despite Daria and Jane taking a background role. It was fun to see the unpleasant Sandi suffering; especially as her accident leads to her becoming the thing she fears the most... unfashionable! The effects on the club were also amusing as neither Stacy nor Tiffany can run the club. Daria and Jane's bets provided a few laughs although it did seem odd that they kept having fairly large bets between each other as I don't recall them ever doing so before. Overall this wasn't a classic episode but it still had enough laughs and it is interesting to have an episode focused on secondary characters.
