Harvey has the means to get rid of Diana.

Tom's nephew and niece invite him to the christening of their new born Sylvester. Tom invites Diana, but her mind is elsewhwere, Harvey has the ability to boot her our of Bayview.

Incidents involving Marion were always funny, a drunken Marion was especially funny, especially when she clashed with Diana.

Diana shows once again that she can be remorseless and sharp, but also kind hearted and compassionate, she was a complex, wonderful character.

Quite a sad episode, but it delivers the ending we wanted. 7/10

The idiot Baines plots to have Diana tossed out of Bayview.

There are two main plots in "The Christening". First, and not surprising, there is a christening and Tom invites Diana to come with her for the event....presumably in order to irritate his hellishly awful daughter-in-law. Second, the idiot Baines is trying to once again get Diana tossed out of Bayview, this time because she supposedly lied on her application to live there...which she clearly didn't. But before she can spring into action, Tom concocts a stupid plan to blackmail Harvey (the idiot Baines) and force him to let Diana stay in the retirement home.

As you'd expect, the episode is well written, clever and features Diana in her crabby and funny best. Well worth seeing and fun.
