Diana collapses and is taken to the hospital. It seems pretty serious and the doctor doesn't do much to allay Diana's fears. Well, Diana puts two and two together and assumes she's dying...and she thinks it might be cancer. Not wanting to die this way, she tries to get Tom to help get her pills so she can kill herself instead of dying slowly and painfully.
If this doesn't sound funny, then you are right. This is a good episode and talks about assisted suicide...an important topic. But it's not meant to be funny and is a rare case where the show isn't trying to get all that many laughs. Still, it is worth seeing...especially to see Diana's niece make her big speech near the end.
