"Princess Sod Off"

Warning: Spoilers
Harvey Nigel Bains is still endeavouring to persuade some unsuspecting female to take him seriously, the latest 'Conquest' is Lucy Maitland.

Apparently they had a drunken tryst under a table, at a Hunt Ball where they got engaged.

Harvey simply can't resist phoning his intended the following morning, to ask her to meet him at his place to meet someone 'Important and Rich'.

Baines then greats a VIP Visitor to Bayview, who he doesn't want any residents to interact with.

Presumably because the woman is attired like the Queen Mum Tom assumes that she must be "Foreign Royalty", her table manners after all are a sure give away.

When Jane Edwards gets to hear about Harvey Baines fiancé she goes completely to pieces, and Tom Ballard and Diana Trent try to comfort her.

Diane and Tom hatch a diabolical scheme to put the kibosh on Harvey's matrimonial ambitions, and they managed to waylay Lucy Maitland when she arrives and convinced her they were Mr and Mrs Baines.

Tom and Diane take Lucy to the Bayview Dining Room to chat and when, Jane realises who Lucy is she reacts in an especially deranged manner.

You get to meet Harvey's fiancee AND his mother in this one.

Harvey meets some drunk woman at some society affair and the pair, who barely know each other, become engaged. Obviously she is a woman of questionable intelligence! Before they marry, Geoffrey wants his mother to meet his intended...but he's also VERY embarrassed about his down to earth mother and his humble heritage. So, he tells everyone that his mother is a temporary resident of Bayview. Not surprisingly, this plan and his engagement fall apart...leading to an absolutely hilarious ending that you just need to see to believe.

Harvey's mother is a great character and you really want to see more of this woman. Likewise, the ending is simply wonderful and make this a must-see episode. One of the best of season three.
