Warning: Spoilers
While at her job, Janet encounters Peter Van Horn (John Elerick ("Earthquake")), on whom she had crushed during their high school days. He gets an invitation to come to the apartment later, and when he gets there, Chrissy has an instinct about him: he may be handsome, but he is pure sleaze. Chrissy has her work cut out for her trying to convince Jack of her suspicions about the guy.

In a welcome change of pace, the script doesn't involve Jack & Chrissy busting in on Janet and Peter at some point. Janet is mostly left to deal with this slimy character herself. You can't help but feel bad for her, realizing that this high school crush of hers is really only interested in one thing.

There are no real belly laughs here, but there are definitely some good chuckles to be had. Jack once again has some fun at Chrissy's expense when she asks him to do a little role playing, and pretend to be her. It IS funny watching Helen go gaga over the good-looking Peter, although the Ropers don't figure into this particular episode very much.

Although we all know Jack can be a shameless horn dog himself, we also know that he's a fundamentally good person, and would never force himself on a woman like Peter does here. We can argue that the creep doesn't really receive enough of a comeuppance, but at least he's sent packing in an amusing enough way.

Seven out of 10.
