First thing to say about this episode, the editing. Opening sequences are made in a rather unusual way. An old man killed aboard his boat and a teenage girl abducted in the country side. This is mainly a criminal investigation with gangsters, as we had in the previous episodes. Actually that's a kidnapping case which a wealthy man is involved through his daughter. In this story things are not what they seem to be at first sight. It's sometimes hard to follow the story despite the heavy British accent. But this kind of scheme is more complex and interesting than in an American topic. A nasty ending, as we seldom had in SWEENEY series
