Warning: Spoilers
Timothy finds himself replaced in his mother's affections. She is no longer fussing over him as he comes home after work.

The dinner is ready but it looks edible. That is not like mother's cooking. She has even had her hair done. She has had a fresh blue rinse.

Timothy wonders if mother has got a new man in her life. Whether father is on his way out.

It is all because cousin Brinsley (David Troughton) is coming to stay as he has a new job as a surveyor nearby. This does not please Timothy.

Cousin Brinsley used to bully Timothy as a child. He is one of them blokes who could do everything better. Now he has to give up his bedroom to him and his mother is fretting all over Brinsley.

Back at the pub, Frank claims that Timothy is jealous that his mother is not fussing over him. She is not even calling the pub at regular intervals to see what Timothy is up to.

Interesting to see Timothy has his nose out of joint. Brinsley now is nicer to Timothy but he still manages to pull a lady that Timothy was interested in. Of course Brinsley cannot stand all the bustling from Timothy's mother and soon decides to leave.
