kevinolzak12 May 2010
Episode 73 begins with the wedding of Dutch and Eunice, carried out quickly by the Reverend(Macon McCalman),who has to rush off to another funeral. We are introduced to Annie Selig(Nancy Dolman),the maid of honor,Eunice's former college roommate, who finds the father of the bride rather handsome, and is whisked off to Chester's pool house before the groom finishes kissing the bride.Eunice is petulantly jealous of her father's new relationship with her best friend, both of whom now live together in the pool house(the bride has a response when Jessica compliments Annie's wedding gown- Eunice:"how could you tell, she was out of it in about ten seconds!" Annie:"what's wrong Eunice, did I break your old record?" an attempted strangling does not meet with the approval of Jessica:"no choking at the table!") The newspapers have published the blackmail photos, and the new sheriff finds himself targeted by an angry public.Mary is furious, not because he refused to give in to Tibbs, but because he failed to share this problem with her before.Following the advice of her doctor,Jessica flies to the island paradise of Malaguay for a relaxing trip overseas, but meets a revolutionary on the plane: Carlos Marcello David Escobar Rodriguez Valdez(Gregory Sierra),better known as "El Puerco," guerrilla leader returning to Malaguay to be executed. After helping him escape, the sympathetic Jessica is forced to go with him, rather than enjoy a peaceful vacation.
