The Saint investigates a mysterious murder in the music industry in this lukewarm mystery episode that is made interesting by seeing the Saint within the late '60's environment : spiritual gurus, psychedelic band members, and pop singers. It can be a bit of an oddball episode, and the story can be confusing, but it still retains one's interest. After all, you have the charismatic Roger Moore and Marne Maitland as the guru keeping things interesting. Sadly this is the second to last episode.

Not one of the Saint's Better Outings

Simon Templar comes up against a slick, unworldly yt money-turning guru (Marne Maitland). Is he a hypocrite playing on young artists?

This episode is set in the music industry. Which is too bad because 1960s music written especially for television shows is typically dreadful.

A couple of pretty girls come along for the ride, but this episode is nothing special. It also features Trvor Banister, in a role a far cry from his character in "Are You Being Served?"

Though this episode has a tidy little murder mystery attached to it, the music and the guru's ramblings render this Saint pretty low on my (subjective) list.
