  [laughs. Opens door. Music is playing] 

  Superintendent Akimbu : Mr. Mazenze. Gentleman come all the way from London to see you.

  [David is revealed sitting comfortably at a desk with an open French window to the outside and sunlight streaming in. The "cell" is a large comfortable room] 

  David Mazenze : [Stands and turns off record player]  Dear old Horace Rumpole! What's your tipple? Bordeaux, if my memory serves me right.

  Horace Rumpole : Well, wait till they hear about this in Wormwood Scrubs!

  David Mazenze : I have a few friends in the French Embassy.

  Horace Rumpole : Oh yes, well your friends at Justicia International...
