"Run, Killer, Run" brings back Richard Jaeckel, previously seen in "The Rattler," as desperate fugitive Clyde Traskel, attacking Johnny Yuma when he refuses to sell him his horse, which attracts the attention of a nearby Sheriff Pruett (John Pickard, last of three), who shackles the two together so he can confirm which one is Yuma. Traskel suddenly knocks out the lawman and escapes, with a helpless Yuma an unwilling accomplice, patiently waiting for his adversary to run out of ammunition. In his unsuccessful bid to break their bonds, the neurotic Traskel reveals why he's been on the run so long; his twin brother, whose unfaithful wife made false accusations against Clyde, the brother she jealously coveted. The climax features a surprise appearance from series veteran Ed Nelson, his fourth of five episodes (William Harlow in his fourth of seven).
