Fran Drescher's love of the soap operas is very apparent in this episode where she casts "As the World Turns" hunk Brian Bloom and "General Hospital's" Sean Kanan in an episode where Fran ends up dating the younger Sean while Maggie dates Brian who is a bit older, upsetting Maxwell. The age difference between Fran and Sean doesn't hide the fact that they look really good together, and it brings up the point of why it's okay for an older woman to be seen with a younger man but not vice versa, at least in Maxwell's eyes. I enjoyed the set made up to look like the park, quite colorful and realistic. Fran is hysterically funny as a classy cougar, desperately trying to hide her age, and her reactions to Kanan discussing his parents is a memorable physical gag. Good quips between Niles and C.C. as well as a sly subplot involving Maxwell's hearing issues.
