As things unfold for Diane and Denby, the absolute nut case cop, things are falling apart for Danny. He is a powder keg. I've never understood his character. Is it all childhood trauma and too high expectations? Is it excessive uncontrollable rage? This is the episode where the detectives get into a now win situation, where they need to help put a stop to this infestation that was started by Jill and that idiot ex husband of hers (now dead). Danny, in interrogating a guy who was guilty, beats the guy to within an inch of his life, making his confession meaningless. He is put on suspension and is to become the fall guy (and maybe he should be) for all the evil going on. I haven't looked ahead to see what transpires now.
