A rare misfire from the Armogida's on writing duties, as the main plot involving Ben and Susan isn't that funny.
I rarely say it, but the Abi/Roger story is actually better, and although predictable is well played out by all involved.
'My Family' was at this stage producing 13 episodes a series (more than double that of a typical British sitcom), so it is perhaps forgivable that there is the odd weaker episode like this.
