Series two opened up with a very funny episode.

Nick is desperate to land a job, both of his parents have opportunities, but know only too well that their son is unemployable, not wanting to lose face, both give him a chance.

It seems like only yesterday this show graced our screens, it was popular for good reason, it was very funny.

Back for a second series, it starts to get a little more outlandish with time, there are some very funny moments here, best of all is Nick bringing those American tourists into the family home, so funny.

Marshall has definitely grown in stature by this point, he's just a joy to watch, loved Ramon, so funny.

Great also to see a young Kevin Bishop, another talent recognised by this show.

Oh for the days of the family sitcom.

8/10.

Hated by the critics but loved by the public - 'My Family' returned for this second series, and what a great episode it is.

Lovely interaction between Ben and Susan, some great lines and plots - a joy.

The writers by this point had also realised what a breakout star they had in Kris Marshall, and it's great to see him sparring with Lindsay and Wannamaker more.

Fab.
