Warning: Spoilers
Michael Chiklis doesn't go for the lovability factor in this episode that shows the crudeness of some so called comic, exposed by Murphy in an interview showing his arrogance, hateful manner, degrading behavior and all around offensive demeanor. She also goes after his fans who support such filth, not censor him but question why such public behavior can be accepted. Then Murphy has to deal with her own mistake, allowing her journalistic integrity to be damaged. One thing I always liked about this show is the fairness in which it presented the genders and their differences, and here, we get to see someone who deserves a public takedown get it. This isn't about cancel culture. It's about behavioral control, telling a free society that sometimes it goes way too far in expressing itself. The men are all there for Murphy, and Frank stands up for a female co-worker when Chiklis says something truly disgusting to her. We like to be educated on occasion in sitcoms, and here we are indeed without the finger wagging. That's good writing.
