A great rant by Frank sets the for this very funny episode that features all women news anchors, no men, something that Frank finds sexist. Cameos by these then famous women do date the episode which focuses on Murphy's baby shower, hosted by Corky. Even if you are around when this first aired, you'd have to be pretty familiar with every new show to recognize everybody, but fortunately they are all identified in the script, called out by Murphy as they enter. In fact, most of the episode is women, only a little part of the show set at the office. All Murphy is concerned with is the type of presents she will receive, being completely unfamiliar with shower etiquette, and the results are funny as she opens each gift and has to question what it is and what purpose it serves. You know that Murphy, who always just wanted to be one of the guys, would wish that there were men there, but not when Corky is in charge. It's funny to watch Murphy's reactions because it's very apparent that she hates ladies who lunch type gatherings. When you can act and not really say much, that's funny, and anticipation to Murphy's child's birth continues to grow just like her belly.
