The second part is a slightly more traditional murder mystery, you could almost call it a little formulaic, Rose even jokes about it having the scene at the end where everyone is gathered in the sitting room.
Wonderfully sixties, it has an eerie, almost surreal vibe, I enjoyed the twist where Rose's visit isn't remembered. I liked the first episode, I preferred this one, as the story is a little more imaginative.
Bernard Archard is terrific as Tom, he's the standout here for me, he has a real presence, an such an amazing speaking voice, his scenes with Mr Rose in particular were terrific.
William Mervyn holds the screen in every single scene, Rose was a great character. 8/10.
