When Kay Ballard shows off her singing prowess crooning "Rockabye Baby", it becomes the highlight of the unintentional mean spirited antics of Kay and Eve here, trying to pickpocket the homeless Joe Besser. He's wearing Jerry's old sports jacket, one so ugly that it has to be seen to be believed. Since it's Jerry and Susie's first anniversary, the adults sneak money in it so they can have a nice anniversary, and Susie gives it to the thrift box in a nearby park. That means that Eve and Kay have to scrounge around in it to retrieve it, resulting in some very funny moments, although there their efforts to go through the pocket with Besser wearing it does seem mean spirited.
There are some truly hysterical moments, especially with each of the adults sneaking into the garage apartment to deposit money in the code and then them playing hide and seek when Jerry and Susie come in. the scene in the park is funny as well, and the little house as a closing deposit box is very cute. When Kay starts to sing, the audience is reminded of her success on Broadway, and she really delivers a memorable lullaby. the recurring disturbances of the police officer who catches them is also very funny, especially how they strive to keep the coach from him which ends up hysterically in the wrong hands. A twist at the end is equal to the very funny meatball episode of season 1.
