If you're into pre cgi special effects this episode is probably not going to do much for you. Basically it's a story about a psychiatrist that is unhappily married. He starts therapy on this dude thats like a cross between roger ebert and the mole guy from the simpsons. That being said the guy getting therapy has some pent up anger issues and when provoked turns into a monkey/sasquatch. The psychiatrist gets the great idea to use the sasquatch to kill his wife. That's basically it. Like i said before pretty simple story, the monkey suit is basic and nothing to write home about but it was the acting in this one that really stuck out for me. As many of you probably already know one of the greatest movies of all time is TERRORVISION. I couldn't help but be reminded of Gerrit Graham and his character Stanley Putterman by the actor Joe Flaherty. (sherwin) As of now I haven't seen Joe in any other movies that I can recall but I couldn't believe how similar the characters were. I'm wondering if they wanted gerrit but couldn't get him and it was intentional or if these guys just have the exact same acting style. Either way if you are a fan of terrorvision (and you should be) check this episode out and see what you think.

Poor episode. We couldn't make it two episodes in without a comedy.

A psychiatrist named Sherwin is introduced to a new patient by the name of Murray Van Pelt, he's the most unusual patient in that when he's put in a trance over his fear of aggression he turns into a monster. Sherwin eventually finds out he can hypnotize Murray into turning into his monster form so he makes a plan to have Murray murder his annoying wife Luann however things don't quite go as planned. Only two episodes in and they give use a annoying corn ball comedy episode, I'll give it this its not as bad as some, but, still these drive me crazy cause everyone is always acting over the top and screaming there lines. The monster is a crappy looking guerilla suit witch looks about as real as a Halloween costume, and the twist is about as predictable as ever.

Amusing comic episode

Warning: Spoilers
Harried and henpecked psychiatrist Sherwin (a lively performance by Joe Flaherty) meets meek new patient Murray (a likeable portrayal by Marvin Kaplan), who transforms into a savage monster (Colin Penman in a cool hairy ape-like suit) whenever he loses his temper. Sherwin decides to use Murray's monster as a means to get rid of his overbearing wife Luann (nicely played to the irritating cheery hilt by Miriam Flynn).

Writer/director Scott Alexander keeps the enjoyably goofy story moving along at a quick pace as well as maintains an engaging lighthearted tone throughout. Flaherty, Flynn, and Kaplan all have tremendous fun with their roles. Teresa Ganzel lends sound support as ditsy secretary Debbie. Moreover, there's a funny twist at the end which comes complete with a satisfying harsh comeuppance for the conniving Sherwin. A total hoot.
