There is a mean ol' man who is out to take advantage of the Monroe family. Of course, that's not hard to do seeing as how the entire clan is sweeter than apple pie. After his stupid mule runs off from him, the stranger tricks the Monroe family into believing that Snow attacked him. Clayt has trouble believing it, but agrees to let him stay until he's better. Unfortunately, the stranger repays Clayt's kindness with deception and thievery as he steals the most precious thing - their trust.
