Im a big fan of the show and can watch it over and over but this episode strikes me as completely bad, just bad writing. made no sense at all. they all loved this horse the champion, the owner wants to put him down for his injury eventhough he made him so much money. The horses' caretaker nurses him back to health and spends most of his salary all in secrecy unbeknownst the whole farm. It is hard to believe the victim daughter would be so angry with him that the caretaker would have to go so far as to silence her and frame someone the accused that he always treated nice and fair unlike the most likely suspect, the drunk and the new stepmother dearest Just a bad writing. Not your usual southern comfort murder formula for this episode.
