I must admit that I don't particularly like the ignorance Hank shows when his car is stolen, but it does show how naive he is when he first starts out. I'm sure Glad he improved! I also believe that Maggie came for more than a job. I think she came because Stevie needed a male influence. He needed Rudy as much as Hank did and Rudy was always there for him when Stevie needed him. This show would not have been the same without Stevie.
I can't help but wonder if perhaps Maggie came in as a temporary role...to establish a bonding relationship between Stevie and Hank - one that would believably endure after she's gone...
The entire episode is great in establishing the character. I just love seeing the "love at first sight" look in Hank's and Rudy's eyes!
