Bold and Brassy
bkoganbing1 January 2021
Diane Ladd's bold and brassy portrayal of a madam come back to Sparta to start a business is the highlight of this episode. Her scenes with Carroll O'Connor, Alan Autry and Howard Rollins are just classic.

Chief Gillespie with some relief learns that her small trailer park operation is right outside Sparta city limits to his relief. But that doesn't satisfy the Reverend :evi Lee who with his wife Beverly Johnson are building a church next door.

Interesting that while Sparta's finest backed off the vice case they sure claimed jurisdiction when both Lee and later Johnson are murdered. The church is more of a cult and all the folks involved have some issues.

Still you tune into this episode for Diane Ladd.
