Just lovely.

It's a lovely, super sweet final episode for the first series. I wonder how it was received at the time, however it did well enough to get a second series.

This final episode felt like Are you being Served, we had the humour, the customers, the back biting, the end of series song and dance, and of course the is he or isn't he jokes surrounding our beloved Mr Humphries.

The Americans were pretty stereotypical in fairness, all portrayed as a bit overbearing, a shame we didn't get more interaction from them.

Beat epsiode so far for Me Moulterd, I thought he was very funny here. Some great one liners throughout, and it was lovely that they put on a show at the end of it.

Roll on Series two! 8/10.

A song and dance to end the first series

Warning: Spoilers
Finally the characters have guests to serve in this final episode from the spin-off's first series.

It's an ok episode, with the song and dance element from 'Are You Being Served?' reappearing.

There is a joke that is repeated from an earlier episode though, and that perhaps is an indication that this show was never destined to run for a long time.

It's been a good series overall, I look forward to starting the second, but I do feel the writers missed a trick by not introducing a few new staff members to the cast to offer more storylines. A younger male in the Mr Lucas/Spooner mould would have been good.

I shall see how S2 shapes up.
