Parents and Teachers (#1.5)
ComedyFan201024 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
It is a parents day a nightmare for many kids. Miss Bliss is looking forward to meet the parents of her students but then turns out that the man she recently met and wanted to go on a date with is Zack's father. They still decide to date but this isn't going too well and Zack admits he doesn't like it. So Miss Bliss stops seeing his father.

This is a pretty amusing episode. The fact that Miss Bliss's date is also Zack's father was very funny. It was obvious that it won't work out but it had funny moments including Zack walking in on them kissing.

It was also funny how other kids were preparing for it. Like all the lies that screech told to his parents.

Zack's worst nightmare

Warning: Spoilers
It's the week that kids dread the most. The Parents meet their teachers, and needless to say… Zack is on the hot seat. Lisa is worried about her parents finding out she wears makeup. Nikki feels her parents will belittle and pressure her about her grades. Screech has been facetious and untruthful with his parents about his school accomplishments, but it's Zack who is in the most trouble when he finds out Miss Bliss is attracted to his father. He hides how upset he is, and tries to get back at Miss Bliss by skipping out on school to get concert ticket, and uses the situation to his advantage. Ah, man. I hated it when my parents met my teachers. There is this endless dread that is entrenched in the back of your mind. What are your teachers gonna say about you, will they reveal how incorrigible you've been with behavior? The scary possibilities frightened me, because I was so worried how my parents would deal with me. This episode did an excellent job of depicting that scenario. I also thought it was pretty ballsy to do the "Parent dates his teacher" storyline. It was pretty potent stuff, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar did a great job in his role. He conveyed all of his emotions very well. This episode is notable for Screech commencing his first ever infamous "Oops" line whenever he opens his big mouth to reveal what his friends are doing. Miss Bliss & Zack's relationship is a treat to watch, and genuine as well. You always have to put your kids and students first. It's just the way it is. I do have something that made me scratch my head. Lisa calls herself a natural beauty in this episode. While that is 100% true… why does she need makeup to augment her features? This is an excellent episode. See it!
