Mrs Berg has an extended conversation on the phone regarding what everyone has to do to make ends meet.

Not just the students but the lecturers as well. No wonder the students don't have a dime to spare.

Lester Wexley (Stuart Margolin) is so busy. He finds himself having to be at two places at once combining both studies and work. This includes milking snakes.

Professor Crayton suggests he swaps jobs with a cinema attendant. Only the man he is swapping jobs with is too big. The uniform does not fit. So each day Maxfield swaps buttons.

George and Irma Howell become a maid and a butler at a dinner party to earn extra bucks. Only George is upset that they are getting help from Charlie Hughes as to how to deal with the upper crust. Charlie used to be Irma's boyfriend.

Gentle and slightly amusing. A sign the American students always needed to work unless they were from wealthy families.

Margolin was well known to fans of The Rockford Files.
