A very enjoyable episode.

Mary Tyler Moore was excellent playing the wife whose husband hasn't come home from work and because he had gotten a minor concussion at work had temporary amnesia and couldn't think to call her. I came to IMDB to check my suspicion that the beautiful girl at the party that Rob got involved with was Barbara Eden and found out it wasn't her but instead an actress named Sallie Jones.

a very strange and difficult to believe plot device in this one.

Rob and Laura are hosting Laura's aunt and uncle. But Rob is running late at the office, as they must finish a sketch before he comes home...and Laura is fuming. But she's even angrier when Rob returns....many hours later. She's been worrying and is very upset...but it isn't Rob's fault. What did happen to him? See the show and see if you can believe it!!

I find the big plot device they use here to be beyond just a little farfetched. While I could never believe it, I can't say it is an impossibility....just very hard to believe. It isn't so bad that it ruins the episode...but it does strain it a bit. Still, despite this it's not a terrible show at all...and it's well worth seeing.

By the way, Rob tells Laura he was at a party in Red Hook, New Jersey. However, I checked and there is no town by that name in New Jersey, but there is one in New York and it's about 90 minutes from New Rochelle where the Petries are supposed to live.
