Nothing exceptional here, in this flat story taking place aboard a fishermen boat. The captain is played by Harry Guardino who accepts aboard a lost woman who escapes from her life, in search for a new one. Some men among his crew don't accept a woman aboard, because they say she will bring them bad luck. The SEA WITCH is the name of the ship, but, as you can guess, not only. Will the woman bring luck to the men who finally accept her among them?
A lone gal among men without women can only bring bad results, every one knows that. Good characterization in this story. Carolyn Jones brings us a very moving performance as this lost woman who finally gets the respect from the men who initially did not accept her.
