Gilles Behat - Olivier Marchal the duo that we'll have for DIAMANT 13. This is among - if not THE BEST - of the series, and I guess Olivier Marchal screenplay is the best explanation. The first minutes are outstanding, and the rest gripping, taut, gritty, offering the most interesting and powerful, ambivalent "villain" of the whole series: Eddie's character, a former SWAT - RAID - negociator become himself a hostage taker !!! . I don't know this actor but his role is purely awesome, a lost in advance cop whose litthe girl was raped by a child molester ; a cop seeking vengeance. I was so amazed by his face, his glance, his eyes announcing a tragic fate. A topic, a subject which it was necessary to telk about, maybe denounced in a didactic and too obvious way, I agree, and an overall TV, home audiences frame. But I will only remind Eddie's - the renegade cop - character.
