It's always the last thing we want to happen, and we don't always think it will happen, but it does because it can happen to anyone, anywhere and at any time. This is another favorite episode as it once again tackles a more serious subject.

We see Jamal is in a robbery situation, I'll admit seeing the gun pointed at his head gave me a cold chill. It was kind of surreal seeing it, but it also reminds us these characters live in the real world. Jamal is more messed up than he want to show, which is understandable as people that suffer deep trauma don't want to show it sort of a form of denial to feel less scared, but the thing about that is it just makes the person more scared.

And like most people in a deep state of fear Jamal has a resorted to desperation by buying a gun, he buys it for protection but it's really fear. It then comes down to a rather dark moment when Jamal discharges the gun as someone unexpectedly comes into the diner, Jamal then gets a rude awakening to who it is he shot.

This episode deals with the issues of traumatic aftermath, gun violence, and what protection really is. To any others that had to go through any traumatic occuance I hope you overcame it and your life has happiness once more because that's what life should really be.
