A Killer In The Diner & A Man Who Saws Body Parts
ccthemovieman-128 December 2009
Danny gets his first big assignment en route to, hopefully, a promotion. He and helper "Aiden" and "Flack" (in a very minor role) have a lot to cover: a diner shooting with three dead and two barely alive. It was a combination robbery and then murder but the murders were done with precision. The person used materials inside the diner and stuff he brought with him.

As the story unfolds, it is apparent someone from inside the diner, which had just been closed for the night, opened the front door to let the killer in. Just who exactly is in cahoots and who is the murderer?

The second episode has "Mac" and "Stella" discovering a dead lower leg part in an alleyway. "Now all we have to do is find the other 85 percent of the body," Stella sums up. This story turns out to be very grisly. CSI shows are known for their blood-and-guts, most in the name of science, of course, but this particularly story has its gruesome (body) parts!

The first parts of this overall episode were good, making the show promising but it started to go downhill and bit and the endings weren't satisfying, either, to be frank. Overall, it was a "fair" show, worth the look but nothing to make it recommended. It just leaves too much of a bad taste, particularly the story of the guy with the missing limb. That story is repulsive.
